BrainChip

Neuromorphic Akida processors and IP for event-based, low-power inference at the sensor

BrainChip develops the Akida neuromorphic processor, which processes data as sparse events rather than dense frames so it can run inference continuously on small power budgets. The company licenses Akida as IP to chip makers and ships reference silicon, development kits and the MetaTF tooling that converts TensorFlow models into spiking networks. Target applications include wearables, hearing devices, automotive sensing, industrial condition monitoring and space systems.

Focus: neuromorphic processors, ip licensing.
