PTC is a US software company whose industrial portfolio includes the ThingWorx industrial IoT platform and the Kepware KEPServerEX connectivity server, which talks to PLCs and devices through more than 150 protocol drivers and exposes data over OPC UA and MQTT. ThingWorx provides device management, mashup dashboards and application building for manufacturers and equipment makers. PTC also sells the Creo CAD, Windchill PLM, ServiceMax field service and Vuforia augmented reality products.
