Sony Semiconductor Solutions manufactures CMOS image sensors and developed the IMX500 intelligent vision sensor, which stacks a logic chip with a neural network accelerator under the pixel array so inference runs inside the sensor. The AITRIOS platform provides tools for training, deploying and managing models on such cameras. The sensor appears in the Raspberry Pi AI Camera and in retail, logistics and smart city devices from partners.
