Which humanoid robots exist, which can you buy, and what do they cost?
Every humanoid robot announced worldwide: who makes it, whether you can order it or it has shipped, the maker's price with its date, and a euro estimate.

After reading this article you will be able to:
- Find any humanoid robot announced in the world and see who makes it and where
- Tell whether a robot is only announced, on pre-order, on sale or delivered to customers
- Read a maker's price with its date and an indicative euro estimate
On this page
This is a list of every humanoid robot we could find announced anywhere in the world, checked one by one on the makers’ own pages. Many can be ordered from their maker, most of them through a sales or quote form and for businesses, laboratories and developers rather than homes. Some have reached paying customers; the rest are on pre-order, only announced, working only in trials or discontinued, and makers’ promises about dates and prices are kept apart from what has actually happened. Each robot has a card: open it for the maker’s price, the dated promises and the history of its status.
The list is meant to answer three questions that the rest of the web answers badly: can you actually buy this robot, has anyone received one, and what does it cost. For the bigger picture, read Humanoid robots: the complete guide; for the home robots you can order today, read Can you buy a humanoid robot for your home?.
How to read the status of each robot
Every robot has one status, and every status links the source that proves it:
| Status | What it means | What proves it |
|---|---|---|
| Announced | The maker has presented the robot, but you cannot order it | The maker’s announcement |
| Pre-order | The maker takes a deposit or a reservation on its own site | The maker’s order page |
| On sale | Anyone can order it from the maker’s own shop, order page or quote form | The shop page or the order form; the card says how the robot is bought |
| Shipping to customers | Paying customers have received units | A primary source that says so: the maker’s announcement, a filing, a report that names the customer |
| Pilots only | The robot works in trials at the maker’s or a customer’s site, but is not for sale | The maker’s or the customer’s statement |
| Discontinued | The maker no longer sells or develops it | The maker’s own statement that it has stopped |
A robot listed with a price but sold out on the day of the check stays “On sale”, and its card says so. A product page that has disappeared, with no statement from the maker, is not enough to mark a robot as discontinued. A factory, a production video or a sentence like “deliveries start next year” is not enough to mark a robot as shipping. Quantities that a maker states (orders, units built, units delivered) are reported as the maker’s own claims.
Where the prices come from
Only from the maker: its order page, its official shop or its official store on a marketplace. A reseller’s price never counts as the maker’s price. When a maker publishes no price, the card says “No public price”. When it publishes several (a basic and an education version, a purchase price and a monthly fee), the card lists each one with the date we read it.
The euro figure is an indicative estimate, not an Italian selling price. We convert the maker’s price at the European Central Bank euro reference rate of the day of the check (the last published rate when the check falls on a weekend), add Italy’s 22% standard VAT rate when the maker’s price excludes tax, and round to the nearest hundred euros for purchase prices and to the nearest ten for monthly fees and deposits. Shipping, customs duties and whether the robot is sold in the EU are extra.
What counts as a humanoid robot
A robot with a human-like upper body, meaning a torso, two arms and a head, on legs or on a wheeled base, that its maker presents as a humanoid robot. Robot dogs, single robot arms, and home robots that their makers do not call humanoids stay out, even when they have arms. Borderline cases are noted on the robot’s card.
How the tracker is kept up to date
Every robot is checked again at the start of each month, and within a week of any major announcement. A change of status or price adds a dated line to the robot’s history, so you can see when a robot went from announced to pre-order, or when a price changed. The data can be downloaded as a CSV file from the link at the top of the list. If you spot an error, the editorial policy explains how to report it and lists the corrections made.

Common questions
Can I buy a humanoid robot today?
Many can be ordered, but few as home helpers. The robots marked "On sale" can be ordered from their maker, most of them through a sales or quote form rather than a shop with a cart, and most are sold to businesses, laboratories and developers. The one humanoid sold mainly for household chores, 1X NEO, was still a pre-order at the last check; a few others list the home among several uses, or are sold to families as companions and learning robots. Each card says what the maker sells the robot for and, for robots on sale, how it is bought.
How much does a humanoid robot cost?
It depends on the robot and on what the maker includes. The tracker shows only prices that makers publish on their own sites, with the date we read them, plus an indicative euro estimate. Many makers publish no price at all, and the tracker says so instead of guessing.
Why is a robot that is "in production" not marked as shipping?
Because building robots in a factory does not mean anyone has received one. The tracker marks a robot as shipping only when a primary source, such as the maker's own announcement or a filing, says that paying customers received units.
Is the euro price what I would pay in Italy or in Europe?
No. It is an indicative estimate: the maker's price converted at the European Central Bank reference rate of the day we checked it, plus Italy's 22% VAT when the maker's price excludes tax. Shipping, customs duties and whether the robot is sold in the EU at all are separate, and the card says what the maker states about EU shipping.
How often is the tracker updated?
Every robot is checked again at the start of each month and within a week of a major announcement, such as a new model, a new price or a first delivery. Each card shows the date of its last check, and changes of status or price are kept in the robot's history.
